With funding from House of Stone, the Manger School has managed to do some renovations in and outside the classroom. They will soon be getting another classroom and an office that will also need renovation because the school is in need of a real touch to make it suitable for the children. For now they have enough chairs for 30 children, but will need to add more tables.
"We now have a regular attendants of 15 children, but unfortunately one of our children passed away. It's a great loss and very painful. Our main challenge is that the number of children being transported to school is increasing as days go by." A car is used to carry eight children to and from the city center, but the car is getting small and transportation costs are big challenge. The majority of the parents are facing transportation challenges because they cannot afford to bring their kids to school or to a pick-up point in the city. They have more children on our registration list but because of this challenge they cannot come. The Manger school wishes to get help in this area for the benefit of the children at home.
