House of Stone

Zimbabwe, a Shona word, translates literally to "House of Stone."
In addition, our organization's name conveys images of both the endurance and stability of the homes that we hope to help provide for Zimbabwean children and of the stones from which modern Zimbabwean sculpture is carved.
Special thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, who made the purchase of our first collection of sculptures in 2000 possible. Since that time, all proceeds from art sales and donations have directly supported community-supported programs for orphans and vulnerable children in Zimbabwe.
